RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

1. Our Policy

At Sandra Lawrence Designs, every piece is made specifically for you. Because of this, all sales are final once production has begun. We do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, incorrect measurements submitted by the client, or delays caused by the client.

However, if we made an error on our end, we will always make it right. That may mean a free alteration, a partial remake, store credit, or a partial refund, depending on the nature of the issue. Your satisfaction matters deeply to us, and we will never leave you without a fair resolution where the fault is ours.

2. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

A return, refund, or exchange may be considered in the following circumstances:

A significant production error was made on our end that does not align with the approved design or the measurements you provided.

Sandra Lawrence Designs is unable to fulfill your order within a reasonable timeframe.

Your item arrives damaged or in a condition that is not consistent with how it left us.

All return or refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of receiving your order. Requests made outside of this window will not be eligible for consideration.

3. Non-Eligible Situations

Returns, refunds, and exchanges will not be issued in the following cases:

Incorrect or incomplete measurements submitted by the client.

Change of mind after production has commenced.

Delays caused by the client, including late measurement submission or delayed approvals.

Custom fabric or embellishment costs have already been sourced and incurred on behalf of the client.

Items that have been worn, altered, or washed after delivery.

Items returned without prior written approval from Sandra Lawrence Designs.

Sale or discounted items unless a confirmed production fault exists.

Rush order fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome.

Deposit payments once production has commenced.

Items returned outside of the 48-hour notification window from the date of delivery.

4. How to Start a Return

If you believe your order qualifies for a return or refund, here is what to do:

Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order via email, Instagram, or WhatsApp.

Share your full name, order details, clear photographs of the issue, and the date you received your order.

Wait for our response within 2 to 3 business days.

If your request is approved, we will send you full return instructions, including where to send the item.

Please do not send anything back without receiving written approval from us first. Items must be unworn, unaltered, and in their original condition with all original packaging intact. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client unless the fault is confirmed to be on our end. If an item is returned in a worn, damaged, or altered condition, the return will be voided.

5. Exchanges and Sizing

Because all Sandra Lawrence Designs pieces are made to your specific measurements, we do not hold standard-size stock available for exchange. There is no ready-made alternative size to swap your piece with.

However, if your piece does not fit as expected, here is what we can offer:

Alterations: If you are based in Lagos, we may be able to arrange alterations to improve the fit of your garment. Please contact us to discuss this option.

Remake Assessment: In cases where the fit issue is significant and confirmed to be a result of a production error on our end, a partial remake or adjustment may be offered.

International Clients: If you are based outside of Nigeria, we recommend finding a trusted local tailor for minor fit adjustments. Please contact us first, and we will advise on what adjustments are safe to make without compromising the garment.

We always encourage clients to double-check their measurements before submitting and to reach out to us if they are unsure. We would rather take the time to get measurements right than have a fit issue after delivery.

6. Refund Processing Times

Where a refund has been assessed, approved, and agreed upon, processing timelines are as follows:

Bank Transfer within Nigeria: 2 to 3 business days from the date of approval.

International Transfers: 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Store Credit: Issued within 24 to 48 hours of approval and valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Please note that refunds are only processed after the returned item has been received and inspected by Sandra Lawrence Designs, or after a fault has been confirmed without the need for a physical return. We will notify you as soon as your refund has been processed.

If you have not received your refund within the stated timeframe, please check with your bank first, as processing times can sometimes vary. If the issue persists, contact us, and we will investigate immediately.

7. Store Credit

Where a full refund is not applicable, store credit equivalent to the eligible amount may be offered. Store credit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and can be applied to any future order within that period.
